Airbus SE is the global leader in designing, manufacturing, and delivering aerospace products, services.

The company operates through three main segments:

  • Airbus Commercial Aircraft: Focuses on the development, manufacturing, marketing, and sale of commercial jet aircraft, as well as aircraft components. The commercial offerings include a full range of aircraft, from the narrow-body A220 and A320 series (120-200 passengers seat), to the larger A330 and A350 wide-body models. This segment also provides aircraft conversion and related services.

  • Airbus Helicopters: Specializes in the development, manufacturing, marketing, and sale of civil and military helicopters, along with a range of helicopter-related services.

  • Airbus Defence & Space: Involves the design, development, delivery, and support of military aircraft, including combat, mission, transport, and tanker aircraft, along with associated services. This segment also offers civil and defense space systems for telecommunications, earth observations, navigation, science, and orbital systems; missile systems; space launcher systems; and services related to data processing from platforms, secure communication, and cybersecurity.

The company was formerly known as Airbus Group SE and changed its name to Airbus SE in April 2017.

Founded in 1998, Airbus SE is headquartered in Leiden, the Netherlands.
