Downstream: Refining of crude oil into petroleum products; marketing and distribution of crude oil, refined products, lubricants, and renewable fuels; chemical manufacturing, including petrochemicals, industrial plastics, and fuel/lubricant additives; transportation via pipelines, marine vessels, trucks, and rail.
Other Activities: The company also engages in cash management, debt financing, insurance operations, real estate and technology development.
The company was formerly known as ChevronTexaco Corporation and changed its name to Chevron Corporation in 2005.
