  • Aerospace: Designs, manufactures, and sells business jets (notably famous Gulfstream business jets); provides aircraft maintenance and repair, management, charter, aircraft-on-ground support and completion, staffing, and fixed-base operator services.

  • Marine Systems: Designs and builds nuclear-powered submarines, surface combatants, and auxiliary ships for the U.S. Navy and Jones Act ships for commercial customers. Also builds crude oil and product tankers, container ships, and cargo ships, and offers maintenance, modernization, lifecycle support, and program management for navy surface ships and submarines.

  • Combat Systems: Manufactures land combat solutions, including wheeled and tracked combat vehicles, Stryker wheeled combat vehicles, Piranha vehicles, weapons systems, munitions, mobile bridge systems, tactical vehicles, main battle tanks, armored vehicles, and armaments. It also provides modernization, engineering, support, and sustainment services.

  • Technologies: Provides IT solutions and mission support services; mobile communication, computers, and command-and-control mission systems; and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance solutions. Offers capabilities in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data analytics, DevSecOps, software-defined networks, everything-as-a-service, defense enterprise office systems, and unmanned undersea vehicle manufacturing.

General Dynamics Corporation was founded in 1899 and is headquartered in Reston, Virginia.
