Swedbank AB (publ) provides a broad range of banking products and services to individuals and companies, operating through three main segments:

  • Swedish Banking:
    Offers savings products (accounts, mutual funds, insurance and pension savings), private residential lending, consumer financing, current accounts, debit and credit cards, mobile and document payments, and card acquiring services. Also provides corporate lending, leasing, trade finance, factoring, and cash handling.

  • Baltic Banking:
    Operates in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, delivering similar retail and corporate banking services as the Swedish segment, adapted to local markets. This includes lending, savings, payments, and card services.

  • Large Corporates & Institutions (LC&I):
    Offers capital markets and investment banking services, including equity trading, fixed income and currency trading, corporate finance, custody, structured products, and advisory services. Also provides transaction banking (cash management, trade finance, securities services) and syndication and debt capital market services.

Additional Services: Swedbank also offers life insurance and pension services, asset management, real estate brokerage, legal services, and treasury operations. Banking is accessible through branches, telephone, Internet, and mobile platforms.

The company operates 153 branches in Sweden, 17 branches in Estonia, 21 in Latvia, and 42 in Lithuania. It also has operations in Norway, Finland, Denmark, China, the United States, and South Africa.

Swedbank AB was founded in 1820, formerly known as ForeningsSparbanken AB, and is headquartered in Sundbyberg, Sweden.
